Background of Shahid Afridi 

 Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi also known as or nick name is Shahid Afridi or Boom Boom Afridi was born on 1 March 1980.He belongs from Khyber Agency of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. He belongs from the Afridi tribe of Pashtuns. Shahid Afridi has height of 1.82 m(6 fit). Afridi was married with Nadia and has four daughters. He is one the best player of Pakistani cricketer. Between the year of 1996 to 2012,Shahid Afridi played 27 Tests matches, 350 One Day Internationals, and 59 Twenty20 Internationals for the Pakistani team. Afridi has also played more many ODI matches than any other Pakistani cricket team player.

Career of Shahid Afridi

 In the year of October 1996 only at the age of sixteen years Afridi was drafted into the ODI team for the duration of the four-nation Sameer Cup 1996–97 as a leg spinner as the alternate of the injured Mushtaq Ahmed.He is also known for his destructive batting style and up to that time held the record for the fastest ODI century i.e.in 37 deliveries. He also holds the division of having hit the most number of sixes in the history of ODI cricket. Shahid Afridi considers himself a good bowler than batsman, and has taken350 over’s and 48 Test wickets in ODIs. Presently Shahid Afridi is a third on the record of leading wicket takers in the Twenty20 system, after Saeed Ajmal and Umer Gul of Pakistan, taking 73 wickets from 70 matches. Shahid Afridi has also signed to play for Sydney Thunder in Australia’s Twenty20 Big Bash league. In June 2009, Afridi take over the Twenty20 captaincy from Younus Khan, and was afterward chosen ODI captain for the 2010 Asia Cup. In his first match as ODI captain against Sri Lanka he scored a century on the other hand Pakistan still lost by 16 runs. Shahid Afridi then also get the Test caption ship but resigned after one match in charge citing lack of form and capability to play Test cricket at the same time he announce his giving up work from Tests cricket. He retained the caption ship in limited-over’s form of the game and led the team in the 2011 World Cup. In May 2011, have led Pakistan in 34 ODIs, Shahid Afridi was replaced as captain. Afterward that month he declared his conditional retirement from international cricket in objection against his behavior with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). But on the other hand, in October he overturned his decision.
